American Fork is the canyon north of Mount Timpanogos, Provo
Fork is the one south of Mount Timpanogos.

The entrance fee to American Fork Canyon is $6.00 for
a 3 day pass.
If you hike to Timpanogos Cave it is:
$7.00 for 16-adult, $5.00 kids 5-15yrs, $3.00 kids 3-5yrs
and under 3 are free.

Most of the climbing in American Fork Canyon is 5.11 or harder
Dogs are allowed (Everywhere except the cave)

I did an afternoon hike in American Fork Canyon while on a business trip in Utah and was amazed at the beauty of the landscape. I will definantly be back for a vacation. The Salt Lake City area is truly blessed with great outdoor access.
