I lived and raised my family in Moab from 1970 to 1990. It is the most beautiful place in the world, especially if you get away from the main roads. Whether jeeping, climbing and hiking or just exploring the red rocks and the mountains, you can't beat the Moab area.
Most people overlook the Manti-Lasal Mountains just southeast of Moab, but they offer special vistas where you can overlook canyonlands country. Just can't be beat. I love it!!!

I lived in Moab about 16 years ago, or so....and Ive been looking at in the internet since...Id love to get back there with my family.

American West is full of splendid places ( national parks , state parks and many others ) . But I must tell that my favorite place in the West is MOAB .
I visited it almost 12 times for Arches , Canyonlands , Manti La Sal , Colorado river , Potash Road . I am fully happy when in MOAB .
Absolutely marvellous place .
