Mount Raymond
Wasatch Mountains
Millcreek Canyon to Big
Cottonwood Canyon
We went from Alexander Basin in Millcreek Canyon, over Gobbler's
Knob 10,246, to Mount Raymond 10,241' and down Mill B North
Fork which took us to the S Curve in Big Cottonwood Canyon.
We dropped off a car by the S-Curve and then drove Ruojia's
car into Millcreek Canyon. A little over eight miles up Millcreek
Canyon is the Alexander Basin turnout. This trail is the fastest
way to Gobbler's Knob. It only took us about 1:45 to get to
the top, and we stopped for 15 minutes along the way. After
Gobbler's Knob we hiked down west, crossed Baker Pass and
proceeded up to Mount Raymond.
Near the top of Raymond is some exposed scrambling. If you
fall off of this ridge, tell God that Darwin sent ya.
Some of these images were lost because of a virus, I have recovered
a few of them,
but most of them are still missing, sorry.
