Mangueira Samba School - Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

This was right inside the Mangueira Favela, outside were hoards of poor people,
but inside, it seemed almost more professional and clean then most of Rio. The bathrooms where high quality and spotless,
there was plenty of visible security, and nothing went wrong at anytime.
Everyone was there for one reason, Samba, and it was intense, you couldn't help but dance.




The largest drum school in Brazil, Mangueira, which means two things, the trunk of a mango tree,
and a garden hose, the school is named after Mangueira Hill (Morro da Mangueira).
Above where some of the masters, it sounded like a choo-choo train flying through your chest.
